Superb Flooring & Design is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to help grow our presence throughout Southeast Michigan.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and managing the entire sales process from prospecting to project completion.

We serve builders, contractors, property managers, designers, commercial clients, and homeowners throughout Metro Detroit. Our team provides access to an established showroom, referral opportunities, industry relationships, and operational support, while giving you the freedom to build your own book of business and maximize your earning potential.

What You'll Do

Generate New Business

• Prospect builders, contractors, developers, property managers, designers, and homeowners
• Develop new business through networking, cold calling, referrals, and job-site visits
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
• Create long-term customer relationships and recurring revenue opportunities

Manage the Full Sales Cycle

• Identify customer needs and project requirements
• Conduct site visits and consultations
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and pricing
• Present solutions and negotiate agreements
• Close residential, commercial, builder, and contractor opportunities
• Monitor projects through installation and completion

Build Client Relationships

• Manage assigned and self-generated accounts
• Become a trusted advisor to customers
• Maintain ongoing communication to generate repeat business and referrals
• Identify future project opportunities within your territory

Represent the Company

• Attend networking events, trade associations, and community functions
• Build visibility within the construction and design community
• Serve as a professional ambassador for Superb Flooring & Design

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales, business development, construction sales, home improvement sales, or related industries
• Proven ability to generate new business independently
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing a sales pipeline and closing opportunities
• Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and field sales activities
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel throughout Southeast Michigan
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Flooring sales experience
• Construction, building materials, home improvement, or property management sales experience
• Estimating and proposal development experience
• Existing relationships with contractors, builders, developers, designers, or property managers
• Experience working with commercial and residential customers

Compensation

Earnings Potential

• $50,000 annual base salary
• Uncapped commission structure
• Target earnings of $50,000 to $150,000+ annually
• Credit for repeat business from accounts you develop
• Auto allowance for approved business travel

Work Environment

This position is based out of our Troy, Michigan showroom and office and requires regular travel throughout Southeast Michigan.

You'll spend time:

• Prospecting in the field
• Visiting customer locations and job sites
• Conducting meetings and consultations
• Preparing estimates and proposals
• Managing customer relationships and project follow-up
