- Operating equipment for assembly and processing tasks to produce finished products according to established specifications.
- Executing daily extrusion manufacturing tasks for synthetic absorbable and non-absorbable multifilament products, including start-up, operation, shut-down, thread-up, and doffing of production spools.
- Performing product testing, troubleshooting processes, and maintaining accurate records.
- Training new associates in extrusion, orientation, and testing responsibilities.
- Collaborating with engineering, facilities, and support teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Participating in shift change meetings, sharing process information, and ensuring prompt issue resolution.
- Adhering to FDA and global quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Supporting LEAN/Six Sigma initiatives and Maintenance Excellence.
- Have experience in manufacturing or production operations (extrusion experience is a plus).
- Are familiar with quality and safety guidelines, especially FDA-regulated environments.
- Possess strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Are comfortable training others and collaborating across teams.
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
- Are committed to following all safety procedures and maintaining compliance with regulations.
