Purpose:

The Latitude Dishwasher is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with the overall dining program and execution of all aspects of the culinary experience for the property from daily operation of the restaurant, to catering and special events. The Dishwasher will be responsible for providing an exceptionally clean facility/operation for all residents and team members to enjoy and take pride in. Maintaining and cleaning all areas of the operations as required or assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef on a daily basis. The Dishwasher is expected to adhere to FSR standards and practices and authentically deliver the Latitude Margaritaville Lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Operate the industrial dishwasher

Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary

Empty and clean all trash receptacles

Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources

Clean dish storage

Follow sanitation policies at all times

Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times

Perform opening, closing and side work assigned

Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately

Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to the appropriate party

Technical competencies:

Education: High school graduate or GED preferred

Experience: Excellent oral communication skills required

Positive interpersonal skills required

1-2 years prior experience in a similar position

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Friendly demeanor

Ability to stand for a long time and move quickly

Must be able to bend, stoop and reach, twist

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Use labeling and storage of chemicals

Organizational skills

Attention to detail

Problem solving skills

Common sense

Team player but can work independently

Compensation/Work Schedule:

$18.00 per hour

Full-Time

Evening & weekend availability required
