Albany Registered Radiologic Technologist Albany, MO, United States (On-site) Job Description The Radiologic Technologist (R) works under the supervision of the Director, Associate Director, Manager, Lead Technologist and/or Clinic Manager. The technologist is responsible for performing a variety of procedures requiring independent judgement and knowledgeable performance. The technologist will operate equipment safely producing quality images for diagnostic purposes and maintain equipment and supplies. Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and fellow staff. Responsibilities Interpret a provider's instructions. Explain procedures to patients; verifies accuracy of patient information in the file. Prepare patients for procedures. View images from an imaging session and keep records of the results. Review and complete patient exam and charges within the radiology information system. Performs necessary clerical duties as needed to support procedures and department/clinic operations. Other duties as assigned.
