M&A Integration Manager (Hybrid)

- Own the end-to-end integration process from pre-close planning through post-close execution
- Drive Day 1 readiness and ensure smooth transitions for newly acquired businesses
- Manage multiple integrations simultaneously in a high-volume deal environment
- Coordinate across Operations, IT, HR, Finance, and Corporate Development
- Establish clear ownership, timelines, and accountability across all workstreams
- Lead integration meetings, track progress, and provide updates to leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve integration speed, consistency, and outcomes
- Build and refine integration tools, templates, and best practices
- Help scale the company's integration capabilities as acquisition activity grows
- Coordinate non-financial diligence across functional teams
- Identify operational risks and translate diligence insights into integration plans
- Support the alignment of systems, data, and operational processes
- Partner with IT and Finance to ensure clean transitions and reporting consistency
- Work closely with C-suite executives and senior leaders
- Build strong relationships with acquired company leadership teams
- Has M&A or integration experience and wants to own execution , not just analyze it
- Thrives in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
- Enjoys managing complexity and driving alignment across teams
- Wants visibility to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence outcomes
- Is excited to build and improve processes , not just follow them
- 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, or M&A/integration roles
- Proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working across teams and driving accountability without direct authority
- Comfort operating in a dynamic, high-growth environment
- Experience with systems, data, or process integration is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools
- Willingness to travel up to ~15%
- This is a hybrid role with flexibility in work location
- Candidates must reside within Wind River Environmental's operating footprint across the East Coast to support travel and integration activities
- Travel is expected (~15%) to acquired business locations as needed
- High deal volume: Be at the center of 7-8 acquisitions per year
- Real ownership: Lead integrations - not just track them
- Executive exposure: Work directly with senior leadership and decision-makers

This position requires authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Wind River Environmental does not sponsor employment-based visas for this role. Headquartered in Marlborough, Massachusetts, Wind River Environmental services and maintains a broad array of non-hazardous liquid waste systems, including grease traps, septic tanks and related waste systems. The company offers a full suite of services to business, residential and municipal customers.

Salary Description
$125,000 - $150,000 base + 10% bonus
