Biology Subject Matter Expert - AI Content Specialist

Biology Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) About The Role We’re looking for biology experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on advanced scientific content. Your deep knowledge of biology, biochemistry, or biotechnology will directly shape how AI reasons through complex scientific problems — making a real impact on the future of intelligent systems.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. Work as much or as little as your schedule allows, from anywhere in the world. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You’ll Do Design challenging biology questions to rigorously test AI reasoning and performance Develop clear, step-by-step solutions grounded in advanced scientific logic Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning Collaborate with research teams to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Masters-level biology topics Provide structured, actionable feedback that directly improves AI model outputs Who You Are Currently pursuing or holding a Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced biology domains Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely in writing Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and rigor Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems Familiarity with scientific benchmarking or academic research workflows Background spanning multiple biology sub-disciplines (e.g., molecular biology, genetics, physiology) Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects with world-leading research labs Fully remote and flexible — design your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Contribute to meaningful work that advances how AI understands science Potential for ongoing work and contract extension #J-18808-LjbffrVacancy posted 4 days ago
