Lead Nationwide Lumix Mechanical and Fabrication

Job Overview:

• Company: Lumix Mechanical and Fabrication, LLC
• Salary/Pay Rate: $28.00+ per hour (Commensurate with experience)
• Location: Rogersville, MO (Springfield Metro Area)
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime and weekend work available)
• Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Valid Driver’s License

The Opportunity

You will bridge the gap between custom shop fabrication and local field installations, delivering high-quality mechanical and structural solutions without long-haul travel. This role gives you the opportunity to lead local projects, master complex metal fabrication, and return home to your family every night.

How You Will Make Impact:

• Execute precision layout, fitting, and welding of mechanical piping and structural components using stainless steel and carbon steel.
• Lead local field installation teams and shop builds by directing daily workflows, tracking project timelines, and prioritizing jobs.
• Perform high-quality TIG, MIG, and Stick welds in shop and field environments to meet strict blueprint specifications.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide field technicians and laborers to build a safe, efficient, and cohesive production team.
• Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols, enforcing the proper use of protective equipment across all work sites.
• Collaborate directly with shop leadership and clients to ensure seamless component installations and project transparency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Direct hands-on experience and proven proficiency in TIG welding.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and schematic drawings.
• Technical knowledge of fabrication equipment, field installation tools, and layout procedures.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for travel between the shop and local field sites.
• Basic tech literacy to use mobile devices or computers for email correspondence and operational reporting.
• Residence in or willingness to relocate to the Springfield, MO metro area prior to the start date.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of custom fabrication, field millwright, or industrial installation experience.
• Prior experience working in a supervisory, foreman, or crew lead role on active job sites.
• Comprehensive knowledge of both stainless steel and carbon steel material handling and welding techniques.
