Job Opportunity – Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgeon – Eastern Idaho

Start Date: July 1, 2026
Location: Idaho
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM); specific coverage dates available through December 2026

Highlights:

• Comprehensive adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical case coverage
• Collaborative surgical team including first-assistant (NP/PA), two surgical techs, RN circulator, and anesthesiologist
• Daily inpatient rounding with 24/7 CVT call coverage responsibility
• Meditech EMR system in place
• Full ICU and step-down nursing support
• Contract extending through December 31, 2026

Requirements:

• Current Idaho medical license required
• DEA and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) required
• Active American Board of Thoracic Surgery Certification
• Proficiency in open heart procedures, CABG, and aortic dissections
• Competence in all adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
