Job Opportunity – Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgeon – Eastern Idaho

Start Date: July 1, 2026
Location: Idaho
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM); specific coverage dates available through December 2026

Highlights:

Comprehensive adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical case coverage
Collaborative surgical team including first-assistant (NP/PA), two surgical techs, RN circulator, and anesthesiologist
Daily inpatient rounding with 24/7 CVT call coverage responsibility
Meditech EMR system in place
Full ICU and step-down nursing support
Contract extending through December 31, 2026

Requirements:

Current Idaho medical license required
DEA and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) required
Active American Board of Thoracic Surgery Certification
Proficiency in open heart procedures, CABG, and aortic dissections
Competence in all adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
