Hotel Facilities Technician - Preventive Maintenance

Hotel Preventive Maintenance job at Golden Nugget. Biloxi, MS. Overview: Accountable for preventative maintenance of all Hotel facility, property, and equipment to include casino and restaurants. Responsibilities: Responsible for general maintenance of all Hotel facilities and the property itself. Perform maintenance with guidance from supervisor. Responsible for maintaining, repairing, all aspects of the Hotel operation. Basic Knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators. Perform routine maintenance on the systems with instruction from supervisory personnel. Ability to perform basic Painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the Hotel with guidance from supervisory personnel. Follow outline of preventative maintenance as scheduled. Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent, a certification in a trade One to two years’ experience in facilities maintenance or a combination of education/experience. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required. Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
