About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required. License: Valid State License or ability to practice upon start date. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS; TNCC and CPI preferred. Must-Have: Experience with both adult and pediatric patients. Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:4. Familiarity with Cerner charting system preferred. Description: Seeking a registered nurse for the emergency room. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience. First-time travelers are accepted, but travel experience is preferred. Candidates must live more than 30 miles from the facility. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, and block scheduling is not accommodated. Experience with both adult and pediatric patients is essential. Additional skills required include management of dysrhythmias and care of ventilated patients. Applicants must be comfortable with phlebotomy and IV management. Daily census is around 10, with approximately 24 visits per day. Candidates should have experience with trauma care and emergency medications. This position emphasizes teamwork and interdisciplinary support from various healthcare professionals. Interest in providing care across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics is expected. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
