Power Equipment Operator

Overview Now hiring Power Equipment Operator Location: Torrance, CA Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour 1st Shift Load it. Stack it. Move it. You unload trailers, shift pallets, and keep the chaos in check—while making it look easy. Responsibilities Operate powered industrial trucks, including cherry pickers, reach trucks, electric pallet jacks (EPJ), pallet jacks, and sit-down forklifts. Perform order picking, put-away, replenishment, and cycle counting to support accurate inventory control. Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and follow OSHA safety standards. Maintain organized warehouse conditions and housekeeping standards. Communicate inventory discrepancies, product damage, or quality concerns to leadership. Support special projects, including tagging, labeling, sample handling, and peak season fulfillment initiatives. Meet daily productivity goals while ensuring accurate documentation and scanning compliance. Required Qualifications 1 year of recent, verifiable experience operating at least one powered industrial truck (cherry picker, reach truck, EPJ, or forklift). Comfortable working at heights for cherry picker assignments. Ability to lift up to 55 pounds repeatedly and stand for full shifts. Strong attendance, reliability, and communication skills. Ability to meet company safety standards, including color-vision requirements. Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS). Experience in apparel distribution, e-commerce fulfillment, or high-volume warehouse operations a plus.
