Emergency Medicine Physician - IEP

Board-Certified Or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician

IEP is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, Ohio. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, community-focused emergency department with strong support from APPs, nursing, and hospital leadership. Ideal candidates are clinically strong, adaptable, and committed to delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include providing high-quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population, performing evaluations, diagnostics, procedures, and treatment planning in accordance with current standards of care, collaborating with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, consultants, and hospital leadership, accurately and efficiently documenting all patient encounters in the EMR, participating in departmental meetings, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory, credentialing, and licensure requirements.

Qualifications include an MD or DO from an accredited medical school, completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency, board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM), eligible for or holding an active Ohio medical license, current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications (preferred), and strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
