Quality Assurance Engineer We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Cincinnati, OH team! Location Cincinnati, OH Overview Quality Assurance Engineers at the Curtiss‑Wright Nuclear Cincinnati location develop, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products for projects related to the nuclear industry, which is a highly regulated industry. Responsibilities Plan, implement, and manage compliance of production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards for worldwide distribution. Implement standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products. Plan and accomplish goals relying on experience and judgment. Support project schedules and customer deliverables within the assigned business segment. Complete project assignments in conformance with company procedures, policies, customer specifications and industry standards. Interact with customers, suppliers, operations and sales to support both domestic and international products and services. Assure compliance with CW Quality Management System, customer purchase orders, specifications and industry standards. Prepare and provide product quality assurance documentation as required by customer programs and the quality management system. Review and approve Quality Verification Documents. Review and evaluate nonconformances, develop and implement corrective action as needed. Perform vendor source inspection activities. Participate in and support customer and vendor audits. Perform inspections on safety‑related components and systems. Follow and create work instructions. Manage time, multi‑task and communicate daily. Work as a team member and participate in activities to improve operations and the facility. Provide support as needed to meet business objectives and assist other personnel. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. 2 to 4 years of related experience. Familiarity with ASME NQA‑1, Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications and/or 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, Quality Assurance Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants and Fuel Reprocessing Plants. Familiarity with ASME Section III, Rules for Construction of Nuclear Facility Components is a plus. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organization and communication (written and oral) skills. Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office experience.
