Evolve Healthcare is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel contract in an acute hospital in Lawton, OK. Estimated Hourly Pay: $52.48 - $54.46 (travelers hourly estimated gross based off 40 hours with per diem/stipends) Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: $2099.00 - $2179.00 Job description & requirements • Specialty: Physical Therapist (PT) • Discipline: Therapy • Start Date: 8/1/23 • Duration: 13 weeks • Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm schedule Monday – Friday and Rotating Saturday every 4-5 weeks • Compensation: $2099.00 – $2179.00/week (travelers weekly estimated gross with per diem/stipends) • Employment Type: Travel Contract • Location: LAWTON, OK 73505 The Licensed Physical Therapist provides patient care based upon a total assessment and written evaluation that is appropriate for the patient's need and medical condition and provides such care in compliance with the hospital and physical therapy department policy and procedures. The licensed Therapist will also assist in the department's performance improvement plan and the hospital's commitment to continuous quality improvement. The therapist assumes responsibility for maintaining and improving physical therapy knowledge and skills by conducting staff in-services and attending continuing education courses. Good communication skills and computer skills, adherence to the Standards of Practice for Physical Therapy and Code of Ethics established by the APTA. Requirements Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside 50-mile radius of LAWTON, OK 73505 (address must be included in traveler's profile). Local candidates may be considered if you meet all the requirements. Experience: Must have experience working in a hospital or rehab units. Traveler must have completed 1 -2 years of acute care or inpatient rehab experience. Will consider a PT with no experience if willing to learn and a quick learner. Someone who is flexible with work schedule. Limited RTO. Preferred if traveler has completed at least one 13-week contract. EMR: Meditech Licensure and Certification: Traveler must have Oklahoma Physical Therapist Licensure BLS – must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY Education Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy with a BS, MS, MPT, or DPT degree in physical therapy.
