Surgical Nurse - Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, Urology

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days, 4x10s, Monday-Friday with a rotating day off. Call required 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Nurse specializing in Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment. Familiarity with Epic charting is required, and experience with Davinci Robots and endovascular procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various surgical procedures including but not limited to abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, anterior lumbar interbody fusion, appendectomy, and total joint replacement.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care.
• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment to ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes during and after surgery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of surgical nursing experience.
• Experience in Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology is required.
• Preferred experience with Davinci Robots, endovascular procedures, and ocular surgeries.
• Active state or compact RN license in hand at the time of submittal.
