Pay Rate: Up to $64/hr. combined (taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Rates may vary and are subject to change.

S tep-Down / PCU RN

- Shifts: 12hr, 07:00-19:00

Job Summary:
Provides care to patients transitioning from ICU to a general medical-surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient status and administer treatments.
• Collaborate with care teams and provide patient education.
• Respond to emergencies according to protocols.

State License Requirements

• Illinois
• Iowa
• Compact Allowed

**IL license must be active at time of submission. IA license also required. If IA license is NOT active, traveler MUST show proof of application for IA single state license at offer acceptance**

Requirements:

• RN license in state of assignment.Minimum 2-year(s) exp.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Step-down, telemetry, or critical care experience preferred.
  

Work Environment & Demands:

• Will work every other weekend
• Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down).
  
• Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and strss management.
