Full-Time, Child & Adolescent PsychiatristMaple Heights Behavioral Health is a new, 120-bed inpatient hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, that provides comprehensive treatment for adults and seniors who are struggling with acute symptoms of a variety of mental health disorders.We are currently seeking to add a Full-Time, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team!About the role:Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling (psychotherapy), psychoanalysis, hospitalization and/or medication.Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.Licenses/Certifications:Board certification in psychiatryCurrent DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.Our Comprehensive Treatment Network23,500 Employees · 11,400 Beds · 258 Locations · 38 States · 1 NetworkAs a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services in the United States and Puerto Rico, Acadia Healthcare operates 258 treatment facilities across 38 states.
