Prospective team members can learn more about the firm's approach and culture by viewing its informational video at Role Description The litigation attorney will manage a caseload focused on employment law claims and matters, handling files from intake through resolution, including arbitration or trial. Daily responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, demand or other letters of representation, conducting legal research, preparing discovery, and managing client communications and day to day case oversight. The attorney will take and defend and take depositions, appear in court for hearings and trials, and collaborate with colleagues and support staff on case strategy. This is an on-site role based in Tampa, FL, requiring regular presence in the office and local courts to support clients and maintain close teamwork with the firm's litigation staff. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with some experience in employment litigation. Familiar with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Proficiency in drafting and arguing Motions, including dispositive and evidentiary motions. Experience appearing before Courts, including hearings, conferences, and other contested proceedings. Background in managing Trials, with skills in case preparation, examination of witnesses, and presentation of evidence. Ability to conduct and defend Depositions, including effective questioning of parties, experts, and fact witnesses. Active license to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the state bar. Excellent analytical, written, and oral advocacy skills, with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Capacity to work collaboratively with a legal team, while independently managing deadlines and case strategy. Prior litigation experience, particularly in employment law, commercial litigation, ERISA claims. or workers' compensation, is highly beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
