Job Overview Job Title: Designer (Level B) | Job Code: 39754 | Job Location: Clifton, NJ Job Schedule: 9/80: Employee works 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description The candidate for this position will be responsible for developing engineering documentation and maintaining a CAD model database. The candidate will execute assignments under close supervision as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering design team. Essential Functions Documentation and drawing generation Frequent use of mechanical CAD modeling tools Specification, model, and drawing generation per ASME Y14.100 Collaboration with multifunctional engineering teams Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience Preferred Additional Skills Excellent communication skills Broad understanding of basic mechanical design practices Hands-on hardware or laboratory experience with electronic assemblies and systems Ability to obtain a US security clearance Familiarity with Windchill, Creo, and military design and environmental test standards In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is [$52,000 - $97,000]. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
