CNC Machinist
Location: Peru, IL Pay: $33 /hour Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM Potential for Long Term Hire Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC equipment, interpreting blueprints, maintaining quality standards, and working safely in a production environment. This position requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality parts efficiently. Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor production runs and make machine adjustments as needed.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Previous CNC machining experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
