Responsibilities Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for patients in a correctional facility Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens, as appropriate, to assessed medical conditions Maintain medical records and charts documenting all medical services rendered Refer patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components, as appropriate Direct and coordinate the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required Qualifications Current state license as a MD/DO Board Certified or Board Eligible Current DEA license Current CPR certificate Proficient with electronic medical records Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen At Armor Health , we are raising the standard of care to impact the lives of those we serve by partnering with exceptional correctional organizations to improve health care outcomes.
