Your path to a rewarding career starts here!Endoscopy Tech at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Southlake:Assists endoscopy team with patients who are having procedures at the facility. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning of the patient care areas. The Endo Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility. In charge of shipping and receiving, stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility proceduresQualifications:Medical Assistant or clinical training preferredOne year experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified is preferredKnowledge of patient care charts and patient historiesPatient Interviewing skillsAbility to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocolsKnowledge of patient evaluation proceduresAbility to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standardsAbility to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patientUnderstands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation.Monday and Friday availabilityAt USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
