Lab Specimen Processor - Tues-Sat, 8am-4:30pm

Eurofins Viracor seeks a laboratory specimen processor for their Lenexa, Kansas location working Tuesday through Saturday, 8am to 4:30pm. The role involves accessioning samples, data entry in laboratory information systems, quality control, and coordination with laboratory personnel.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and specimen accessioning using LIMS and tracking systems
- Examine samples for accuracy, proper labeling, and storage requirements
- Maintain sample storage materials and ensure proper handling procedures
- Resolve patient demographic discrepancies and complete correction requests
- Maintain quality control records and ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Specimen processing experience in clinical laboratory setting preferred
- Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
- Comfortable handling raw biological specimens
- One year data entry experience preferred with strong database skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Legal right to work in Kansas without visa sponsorship
