Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) – Sparta, MI | 2026-2027 School Year

We're seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support for a 4th-grade student in Sparta, Michigan during the 2026-2027 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working alongside a supportive school team.

Position Details:

Full-time, school-based position
1:1 assignment with a 10-year-old (4th grade) student
Student is ventilator and tracheostomy dependent
Student is verbal, mobile, and eats and drinks by mouth (no G-tube)
Bus riding is required—nurse will meet the student at their home in Cedar Springs, MI and ride the bus to and from school
If the student is absent, the RN will have the opportunity to work in the school's health room to maintain hours

Qualifications:

Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care preferred
School nursing or pediatric experience is a plus
Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
