ACCfamily is expanding to Charlottesville in Spring 2025, bringing our trusted, family-owned approach to home care. With over 30 years of experience, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, one-on-one care that allows seniors to remain comfortable and independent in their homes. We are looking for compassionate caregivers to join our growing team in Charlottesville. We offer flexible schedules, including live-in care, full-time and part-time shifts, with weekday and weekend options. Our supportive care team works closely with you to match you with cases that fit your schedule and skill set, ensuring the best experience for both you and the client. Job Summary
The Nurse Aide assists with basic patient care activities.
Responsibilities
- Assists with procedures/plan of care prescribed by a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
- Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions.
- Performs light housekeeping duties.
- Provides for patients psychosocial and spiritual needs & special conditions.
- Develops & maintains cooperative and therapeutic relationships with residents, families and other staff.
- Responds to patient needs and responds to patient safety concerns promptly.
Required Credential(s)
- Home Health Aides, Nurses' Aides and Certified Nurse Aides. Companions with no certifications must have at least 2 years' experience.
Education & Experience
- HS or Equivalent
- Previous experience as a CNA is preferred
