Rockland Trust offers a wide range of banking, investment, and insurance services to help individuals and businesses work toward their financial goals with more than 120 branches located throughout Massachusetts, as well as commercial banking, investment management offices, and residential lending centers across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.What You'll Do:Make the first impression to our customers as they enter the branch, warmly greeting them and guiding them to the colleague who can best support their needs.Engage in constant customer support, exhibiting efficient, effective, and courteous customer service in person and via telephone.Serve customers by supplying them with information on the Rockland Trust banking products best suited to their individual needs.Ensure that customers feel cared for as you perform duties that require a high level of accuracy, such as processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checking, and other financial transactions.Make decisions alongside immediate supervisor, which may become more extensive as position gains in knowledge and experience.Work closely with our training team and your branch team to learn about these responsibilities, and to complete Rockland Trust's Teller Training.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Comfortable using technology, including computers, to facilitate the achievement of business goals.Sales and service-oriented personality.Ability to maintain a professional appearance.Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members.Ability to work within normal office requirements, with long periods of standing and continuous customer support.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Willingness and ability to work within a flexible work week, which may include weekends, as customer needs dictate.Ability to successfully complete our training programPreferred Skills/Experience:Candidates should have 1-2 years prior teller experience or cash handling/customer service skills.Rockland Trust is the Bank Where Each Relationship Matters®.
