The Software Engineer works closely with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, finance, and other business teams to develop practical software solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and visibility across the organization. The Software Engineer will work on internal applications, enterprise systems integration, ERP/MIS-related solutions, reporting platforms, and technical debt reduction initiatives while helping evolve our application portfolio for the future.Key Responsibilities:Build, maintain, and enhance internal business applications that support core business processesModernize existing applications and reduce technical debt through refactoring, redesign, and platform improvementsIntegrate enterprise systems, databases, and third-party applicationsCollaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve issues in both modern and legacy applicationsDesign, develop, and maintain APIs, data integrations, and automated workflowsParticipate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and support processesCreate and maintain technical documentation that improves long-term maintainabilityContribute to application architecture, data quality, security, and operational reliabilityUse AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity while maintaining engineering quality standardsAI-Assisted DevelopmentBoilerplate code generationUnit test creationDocumentation and code explanationRefactoring recommendationsTroubleshooting and researchRequired Qualifications:3-7 years of professional software development experience building and supporting business applicationsExperience with one or more modern application development stacks, such as:C#.NETPythonJavaScript / TypeScriptOr similar enterprise application technologiesStrong SQL and relational database skillsExperience using Git, source control workflows, and code review practicesDemonstrated testing and debugging skillsAbility to understand and maintain existing or legacy applicationsStrong communication skills and ability to work directly with nontechnical business stakeholdersStrong problem-solving skills and a practical, business-oriented mindsetMeyers offers competitive compensation, including salary and commissions, a rich benefits package for our full time employees (30+ hours a week) including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan and match, generous paid time off, 10 holidays, profit sharing, exercise room and much more!Meyers is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.
