TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Orangeburg, South Carolina, 29118!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required License: Current RN license in South Carolina or compact license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required, NIH preferred Must-Have: Telemetry competency required. Previous charge experience preferred. Description: Position available for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN. Shift consists of three 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Patient ratios will be approximately 1:5-6. Every other weekend is required. This position does not require on-call duties. Travelers may need to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs. Two years of experience in a telemetry unit is required. First-time travelers are accepted. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. NIH certification is preferred. Facility operates a Level III Trauma center. Medical experience in a community hospital setting is preferred. Candidates will be part of a multidisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. Daily census for the unit is approximately 36 patients. The unit treats adult and geriatric patient populations. All RTO must be submitted prior to consideration. Travelers should be aware that emergency response team assignments may occur during hurricane season, from June through November.
