Known for its locally sourced menu and welcoming atmosphere, the restaurant takes pride in creating a positive experience for every guest while fostering a team-oriented environment for its employees.The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food efficiently, safely, and according to company standards. This role focuses on maintaining food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and speed of service to support an exceptional guest experience.Responsibilities include assembling menu items according to recipes and procedures, keeping the work area clean, organized, and stocked, and following all food safety, sanitation, portion control, waste reduction, and kitchen safety standards. The Line Cook also assists with receiving, labeling, rotating, and storing inventory, communicates with Front of House staff to ensure accurate and timely orders, supports other kitchen stations as needed, and helps with opening, mid-shift, and closing duties.Preferred Experience, Skills & Abilities of the Line Cook Position:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAt least two years of previous experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safetyAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentBasic understanding of kitchen equipment and safety proceduresDependable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethicAll other duties as assignedCompensation, Benefits, and Structure of the Line Cook Position:The position is full-time, permanent, and hourly non-exempt. Compensation varies based on experience, skills, abilities, and length of service with the Company. The starting pay typically ranges from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour. Back of House employees are also eligible to earn tips.The recruitment process will include phone screens, an in-person interview, and a pre-employment background check and drug test.
