About the Role:

The Resource Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient allocation and management of organizational resources to support project and operational success. This position involves coordinating between various departments to identify resource needs, scheduling personnel and materials, and monitoring resource utilization to optimize productivity. The Resource Coordinator acts as a central point of contact for resource-related inquiries and works closely with project managers and team leads to anticipate and resolve potential resource conflicts. By maintaining accurate records and generating reports, the coordinator provides valuable insights that aid in strategic planning and decision-making. Ultimately, this role contributes to the seamless execution of projects and daily operations by ensuring that the right resources are available at the right time and place.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in resource coordination, project coordination, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in resource management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a fast-paced corporate or project-driven environment.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or Resource Management.
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools to enhance resource planning.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule resources including personnel, equipment, and materials to meet project and operational demands.
• Collaborate with department heads and project managers to assess resource requirements and availability.
• Maintain and update resource allocation databases and tracking systems to ensure accuracy and transparency.
• Monitor resource utilization and identify potential shortages or conflicts, proactively proposing solutions to management.
• Prepare detailed reports on resource usage, forecasts, and trends to support strategic planning and budgeting.
• Serve as a liaison between teams to facilitate communication and resolve resource-related issues promptly.
• Assist in developing and implementing resource management policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
