Musician Talent Assistant, Freelance Contract | Santa Barbara, CA | September Live Music Charity Event We are seeking an experienced Musician Talent Assistant to support a major charitable live music event taking place this September in Santa Barbara. This freelance role will work closely alongside our lead Producer, who has extensive experience in talent procurement and live event production. The Musician Talent Assistant will help identify, research, and support the process of securing high-level musical talent for the event. Responsibilities Research potential musical talent Conduct outreach to artist managers, agents, and representatives Tracking artist availability, touring schedules, and potential conflicts Maintaining accurate CRM records and talent contact information Supporting the Producer throughout the booking and negotiation process Assisting with follow-up communication and coordination as needed Ideal Candidate Proven experience in artist relations, live music booking, talent coordination, or a related field Strong understanding of the agency and management landscape Professional, polished communication style Highly organized and able to move quickly Comfortable working in a fast-paced live event environment Discreet, reliable, and detail-oriented Application Requirements Applicants should provide three recent and relevant professional references.
