About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) to support the Chief Nursing Officer in the management of the nursing department. The ACNO will be responsible for a wide range of essential duties, including assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of nursing department functions in compliance with relevant standards and regulations. This role involves participating in the development and maintenance of nursing policies and procedures, ensuring the quality of care is maintained, and monitoring the performance of nursing staff. The ACNO will also be involved in administrative tasks, such as completing medical forms and reports, and will serve on the Quality Assurance and Assessment Committee. Applicants for the ACNO position at the company must have a Nursing Degree from an accredited institution, a current active nursing license, and a minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. Additionally, a minimum of 6 months' experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices is required. The ideal candidate will be a supportive team member, capable of making independent decisions, and have the ability to interact tactfully with various stakeholders. Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as relevant laws and regulations, is essential. The role demands a candidate with patience, tact, and the ability to handle the physical and emotional demands of the position, including the ability to lift and move patients as necessary.
