Administrative Assistant
LHH is partnering with a nonprofit organization in the Washington, D.C. area to seek a highly organized, proactive Administrative Assistant. This role is ideal for a strong candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and enjoys keeping people, projects, and processes running smoothly.
This position is based in Washington, D.C. Compensation will range from $23–$27/hr based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for consulting operations and leadership
- Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and logistics for internal and external stakeholders
- Support client engagement activities, including preparation of materials and follow-up tracking
- Maintain organized records, documents, and shared files related to consulting projects
- Assist with invoice tracking, vendor coordination, and basic operational workflows
- Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations as needed
- Act as a central point of coordination for communications across the consulting team
- Support general office and administrative functions as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in administrative, executive assistant, or office coordination roles
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders in a consulting or professional services environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote-leaning team structure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general productivity tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, shared drives)
- Positive, service-oriented mindset with strong follow-through
Additional Details
- Location: Washington, D.C.
- Hours: 35 hours/week
- Start: As soon as next week
- Focus: Administrative support for consulting business operations
