Duties

Help

• You will plan work assignments of personnel, equipment, facilitate scheduling qualifications, training, and develop specialized skills and procedures.
• You will schedule, coordinate and direct the accomplishment of work projects or operation in accordance with project needs and schedules.
• You will provide input to develop processes and procedures for accomplishing work.
• You will promote and administer management programs such as safety, employee ideas, quality assurance, productivity improvement, cost reduction, and energy conservation.

• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
• This position requires that the selectee be willing and able to climb ladders and scaffolding.
• This position requires that the selectee be willing and able to work in small and/or confined spaces.
• This position requires that the selectee be willing and able to work onboard ships.
• This position requires that the selectee have visual acuity and accurate color determination.
