E-Commerce Specialist

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented E-Commerce Specialist to support the day-to-day management and growth of an established online retail business. This individual will play a key role in maintaining online product listings, researching inventory and pricing, processing orders, managing customer communications, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience selling through marketplaces such as eBay and understands the full lifecycle of online product sales, from product research and listing creation to order fulfillment and returns management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, is highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, optimize, and maintain online product listings

• Write compelling product titles and descriptions using marketplace SEO best practices

• Research products, competitors, and market pricing to maximize sales opportunities

• Edit and prepare product photos for online listings

• Manage inventory records and maintain listing accuracy

• Process customer orders and ensure timely fulfillment

• Respond to customer inquiries professionally and promptly

• Handle returns, refunds, and customer service issues

• Monitor marketplace performance and identify opportunities for improvement

• Perform general e-commerce and administrative tasks as needed

• Work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization

Skills and Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing or selling through an eBay seller account

• Experience creating, editing, and optimizing eBay listings

• Knowledge of eBay Seller Hub and marketplace best practices

• Experience conducting product and competitive pricing research

• Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly

• Experience managing inventory and maintaining accurate records

• Customer service experience, including customer messaging and issue resolution

• Strong written communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision

• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to the Ringgold, GA area - Experience with Shopify

• Experience with Vendoo

• Experience selling on additional marketplaces such as Amazon, Etsy, or Facebook Marketplace

• Product photography experience

• Experience using photo editing software

• Experience in online retail, resale, or e-commerce operations

• Experience with spreadsheets, inventory systems, or product databases

• Familiarity with multi-channel marketplace management tools

• Basic understanding of marketplace analytics and sales reporting
