Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to establish mental health diagnoses and develop tailored treatment plans that align with clients’ goals.

  • Document client interactions, treatment progress, and case notes in compliance with our organizational policies and relevant regulations.

  • Maintain an active caseload of at least 27 client visits per week while fostering meaningful therapeutic relationships.

  • Engage in collaborative treatment approaches by coordinating with case managers, families, medical professionals, and educational staff to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • \n
  • Participate in ongoing clinical staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills and contribute to team development.
  • \n
  • Utilize innovative therapy techniques and creative problem-solving to help clients reach and exceed their therapeutic objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be with children, adolescents, and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse client base, including individuals from varying cultural backgrounds and those identifying as BIPOC and LGBTQ+. This role requires a deep understanding of the nuances associated with family dynamics and the complexities of mental health across different age groups.

  • A master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution is mandatory.

  • Possession of a valid LMFT PA clinical license is required.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment planning, and detailed case notes.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with clients and professional colleagues.
  • \n
  • Strong organizational abilities to complete and submit all required documentation efficiently and on schedule.
  • \n
  • A commitment to establishing and maintaining professional boundaries with clients.
  • \n
  • Familiarity and comfort in working with a diverse population.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and experience with Electronic Health Record systems, specifically Valant, is highly desirable.

  • Ability to pass a background check prior to employment.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Previous experience working in a community health setting.

  • Special training or certifications in family therapy or child psychology.

  • Experience in telehealth services and virtual therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
