Realty Specialist (Document Examiner) (TIME LIMITED ASSIGNMENT)

Realty Specialist (Document Examiner) At the full-performance level of Realty Specialist (Document Examiner), GS-1170-11, the duties will be: Responsible for preparing and reviewing real estate contracts, detailed Real Estate Planning Reports and Real Estate Summary and Lease Planning Reports, required in planning the acquisition of real estate. Assist in reviewing title evidence for compliance with applicable USACE and the Department of Justice standards identifying potential issues. Conduct preliminary reviews of agreements in cases of multiple ownerships and varied interests and provides initial findings to those who conduct negotiations with landowners in such cases. Personally make contacts with rightful owners, lessors, and tenants to negotiate for the purchase of land in fee, easement, or lease of property.
