Call shifts required during the week and on weekends. Weekend call coverage includes every 6th weekend from Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM. Weekday call shifts run from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This is a 91-day travel assignment.Highlights:\n \n Work in a comprehensive cardiac catheterization lab with 3 procedure rooms serving adult and geriatric patient populations\n Perform both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including coronary interventions, structural heart procedures, and advanced cardiac device placements\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams\n Gain experience with advanced procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, Impella insertion, IABP placement, and left atrial appendage closure\n 40 hours of paid orientation to ensure successful onboarding\n Opportunity to work at a Trauma Level II facility with Epic charting system\n Requirements:\n \n Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at time of submission)\n Minimum 5 years of cardiac catheterization lab nursing experience required\n Current ACLS and BLS certifications required\n Trauma Level II experience required\n Epic charting system experience required\n Extensive skills required including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, procedural sedation monitoring, circulating and scrubbing procedures, cardiac device placement, vascular interventions, and emergency medication administration\n Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years\n Ability to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)\n Willingness to float to sister facilities as needed\n Why Join Us?\n This travel nursing opportunity offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab with exposure to a wide range of advanced cardiac procedures.
