Business Development Manager

Job Description This is not your everyday sales job. Due to our focus on training and education, we want you to develop a strong relationship with a core group of industry representatives. Many of these people will be senior level and you will be the voice of our company. Ready to take the lead? What you’ll do every day: Identify qualified prospective clients and develop loyal customer relationships Make effective telephone presentations to prospective clients, clearly communicating the competitive advantage that attending our conferences will bring to their businesses Maintain professional standards in marketing, sales & customer service Research to understand the issues driving the energy industry, and communicate them to senior executives Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to pitching to closing Qualifications 1-3 years of work experience or the equivalent in marketing or experience marketing B2B conferences or events Self‑starter who doesn't give up A strong communicator, both written and verbal Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to perform at a high level in a fast‑paced environment Internet and social media savvy Excellent telephone skills Domestic travel 2‑3 times per year Benefits Base salary plus profit sharing Health Insurance Premium paid 100% for Employee Simple IRA Plan (matching up to 3% of salary) Paid Time Off Employee Wellness & Social Programs All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr EUCI
