Position Details

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00)

Location: Issaquah, WA

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our team. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience in an adult environment, specifically in the PICU or ED settings. Candidates must be open to floating to other campuses as needed.

Requirements

• WA State License required
• Previous experience in adult critical care and pediatric critical care
• Experience with Pulmonary Function Test Lab is preferred
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT
• Demonstrated proficiency with the following skills:



• Airway management devices and suctioning
• Medication administration (e.g., Albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, etc.)
• Ventilator management (Draeger, Servo I, BiPAP, CPAP)
• ABG interpretation and basic EKG skills

Patient Care Details

• Patient load includes managing 5 ventilators with an average of 6-8 RVUs
• Patient age group: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Daily census and bed count details will be provided during orientation

Work Environment

• Floating to other facilities within the network may be required, most likely to Swedish Issaquah
• Weekend coverage is variable
• Orientation includes 24 hours of training

Professional Expectations

Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. All scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process.

Additional Information

All previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for this travel position. Candidates will not be considered if they do not meet these eligibility requirements.
