Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant school community near the Naples, FL area. This position offers an engaging environment where you’ll work with K-12 students, providing essential direct speech services and conducting evaluations to make a real impact. The role is structured for up to 35 hours per week (up to 7 hours per day), for the academic year spanning August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027. Assignments will be at one dedicated school within the Golden Gate City or Immokalee area, allowing you to build strong connections with students and staff alike.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist license
• Strong clinical skills for evaluations and direct speech services
• Experience working with school-aged children from kindergarten through high school (K-12)
• Efficient documentation and organizational abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in an educational team setting
• Flexibility in adapting to school schedules and student needs
• Fingerprint clearance in accordance with Florida school district standards (previous prints through the AHCA Clearinghouse may be valid)

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language interventions to students as assigned
• Conduct formal and informal evaluations to determine student needs
• Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student goals
• Participate in team meetings and student assessments as needed
