Job Description
Title: Labor & Delivery RN - High-Risk Obstetrics

Schedule:
- Nights, 3x12 (19:00-07:30)

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Travel experience required; no first-time travelers
- Experience in large hospital settings preferred
- Must be able to circulate (C-section)
- California RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (or NCC EFM certification as an acceptable alternate)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to high-risk obstetric patients throughout labor and delivery.
- Monitor and interpret fetal heart rates and manage EFM (electronic fetal monitoring).
- Assist in vaginal and high-risk deliveries, including circulating for C-sections.
- Administer and manage medications, including magnesium sulfate therapy and insulin drips.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 72 hours
- Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day
- Pre-start modules required (average ~16 hours)
- LA Fire Card required within last 30 days (not reimbursed)
- Submission requirements include SSN and DOB at the time of submission, along with two references covering one year within the past three years.
- Must disclose any license or background issues upfront.
