Dental Hygienist - Where Great Care Meets a Great Team

Full-time Dental Hygienist providing preventive and therapeutic care in both onsite and mobile clinics within the Tacoma, WA area. The role focuses on patient education and clinical services to improve community oral health. Key Responsibilities: Perform dental cleanings, assessments, and appropriate treatments Take and document dental X-rays Review patient information and document treatments and clinical findings Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and long-term dental health Provide services in onsite and mobile dental clinic settings Maintain proper sterilization and infection prevention practices Follow established patient safety procedures and clinical protocols Ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, and WISHA standards Work closely with dentists and other members of the healthcare team Provide a welcoming, professional, and positive experience for patients Manage a 40-hour work week on day shift schedule Collaborate with team to expand access to quality dental care throughout the community Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene Program Active Washington State Dental Hygienist License Anesthetic Endorsement Current AHA BLS certification Familiarity with CDC sterilization and infection prevention standards Knowledge of OSHA and WISHA requirements Strong communication and patient education skills Excellent attention to detail and clinical documentation Team-oriented approach with a commitment to exceptional patient care Benefits: Sign-on bonus eligible Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off Retirement plan 5% employer contribution to retirement Low insurance premiums for individuals and families Opportunities for continued professional growth and development Supportive and inclusive workplace Opportunity to make an impact through both traditional and mobile dental care You hold a Washington State Dental Hygienist license.
