Retail Store Manager

Location Store - S.DG-CHULA VISTA-OTAY RANCH, CA Job Overview Store Managers are expected to spend the vast majority of their time on managerial work, leading and managing a team to deliver a great customer experience while achieving desired results and ensuring the store and team are ready to deliver the Customer Brand Promises. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the store, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs, compliance with applicable laws, and execution of Company policies and standards. Hold the team accountable for store conditions and results. Deliver sales plan, profit plan, and other KPIs in conjunction with annual performance objectives. Manage the store team to achieve individual role KPIs. Execute customer brand promises and lead shrink and safety programs to deliver goals. Use company tools to set, prioritize, and communicate goals and provide overall management to team members and customers. Staff the store with qualified Team Members: hire, train, observe, coach, and lead performance and disciplinary processes; identify talent and develop Team Members for advancement. Maintain operational understanding of all store departments, cross‑train managers in custom framing selling and production, and act as Manager on Duty (MOD). Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years of retail experience, including specialized knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and customer service excellence. 2+ years of experience directly supervising a diverse team, including performance management and talent development. Physical Requirements Ability to remain standing for long periods of time. Ability to move throughout the store, bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly. Some lifting of heavy items and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Work Environment Public retail store setting supervising team members and serving customers; all public areas are climate controlled; some stock rooms may not be climate controlled; some outdoor work. Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
