Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing team in Franklin Park. You will safely operate propane sit-down lift trucks to transport finished products from the production line to freight trucks and warehouse storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Operate propane sit-down forklifts in a fast-paced environment.

• Inventory Control: Utilize RF scanners to track inventory, shipping, and receiving data.

• Labeling & Verification: Create and apply production labels, verifying accurate piece counts.

• Quality Control: Inspect finished materials for visible defects before transport.

• Line Support: Keep production areas clear of materials to prevent manufacturing delays.

• Warehouse Organization: Maintain straight product rows with proper 2-4 inch spacing.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of sit-down forklift experience in a manufacturing setting.

• Technical Skills: Confident operating propane lifts and using RF inventory scanners.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required (must provide proof for permanent hire).

• Environment: Ability to work around heavy machinery and adapt to seasonal temperature changes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
