Overview The ideal Assistant Director of Nursing is detail‑oriented, organized, and has strong knowledge of policies and government regulations. This role supports and trains stakeholders to provide the best care possible to residents. How You Will Make a Difference Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department. Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overall operation of the department in accordance with company policies, nursing practice standards, and government regulations, ensuring quality care. Delegate to Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability needed to perform their duties. What You Need To Make a Difference Registered Nurse in good standing with a required current state license. Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience. One (1) to two (2) years of management/supervisory experience preferred. Current/active CPR certification.
