Job Title

RN – Cardiac Cath & EP Lab | Pre-Op & Recovery (Level 4)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Rotating Schedule – 4 x 10-hour shifts per week; includes day, evening, and night (DEN) rotation with occasional weekend shifts based on unit need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care across the pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure continuum within a Cardiac Catheterization and EP Lab Holding Area
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver patient education prior to and following cardiac and vascular procedures
• Monitor hemodynamic status and manage moderate-sedation recovery for patients undergoing cardiac and electrophysiology procedures
• Deliver Phase I and Phase II PACU-level recovery care for patients with diagnoses including coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure
• Recognize and respond to acute and non-acute clinical situations in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support exceptional patient outcomes throughout the procedural care continuum

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Telemetry competency required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent hands-on experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting
• Recent hands-on experience in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting
• Familiarity with PACU-level or procedural holding area nursing care
