The Heavy Equipment Rental Sales Representative will focus on driving rental sales to construction companies through a blend of inside office work and outside jobsite visits. This role involves identifying potential customers within the local area, initiating contact via cold calls, and maintaining ongoing communication to secure rental agreements. Flexibility for full-time or part-time work is available, with no travel beyond the local region required.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new customers in the construction industry
- Conduct cold calls to generate sales leads
- Visit local jobsites to engage potential clients
- Maintain follow-up communication to close sales
- Manage a mixed inside and outside sales approach
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in heavy equipment sales
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in cold calling techniques
- Excellent communication skills
