About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience with at least 2 previous travel assignments License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, Critical Care Certification preferred Must-Have: Strong Surgical ICU experience Description: The role involves caring for ICU patients and post-surgical patients, including trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, orthopedic, neuro-spine procedures, and general surgery. The patient population includes trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, orthopedic-spine, and oncology. The position may require floating as needed to areas with a similar skill set. Work weekends for 3 out of 6 weekends within a 6-week schedule. Availability for 2 call shifts during a 6-week schedule is required. Additional availability for holidays may be needed.
