About the Position

The unit features 12 beds with a patient ratio of 5-6:1. There is one Patient Care Technician available on the unit. The type of equipment used includes general Med Surg equipment. Documentation is done through Meditech. Scheduling requires four weekend shifts per four-week schedule. Floating to other areas may be required. Patient experience requirements are set at 75%. Advanced skills and procedures may be performed on the unit. The dress code requires navy scrubs. This is a brand new unit in the hospital. Candidates should be aware of outstanding department awards and recognition.
